MADOO was founded in Amsterdam by Madeleine Romero, driven by a love of distinctive fragrance, timeless interiors and objects made to remain.
Born in Abidjan and raised in Amsterdam, Madeleine brings together the warmth of her African roots and the refined simplicity of her European upbringing. These influences come together in MADOO: expressive fragrances, thoughtful design and a quiet sense of luxury.
A lasting object
Most candles disappear once the final flame has burned. MADOO was designed differently.
Each candle is housed in a fine porcelain vessel, finished by hand and created to become a lasting part of the interior. Once the candle is finished, the vessel can be refilled with a new candle or transformed into a reed diffuser with the Wenge wood lid and fragrance refill.

Each fragrance has its own character, but all three are created to bring atmosphere, depth and identity into the home.
Made with intention
MADOO candles are made with rapeseed wax and carefully selected fragrances. The porcelain vessels are reusable, dishwasher safe and protected by the MADOO Lifetime Porcelain Guarantee.
Every detail has been considered, from the scent and the hand finished porcelain to the way each piece can evolve over time.
